Designs by M’Ayanna Handcrafted Artisan Jewelry
The very first thing I wondered when I saw today's feature shop was to wonder what the name meant.
Designs by M'Ayanna on Etsy.
It's a beautiful name. Colorful. Graceful. And these qualities are perfect for it's meaning as well! Because M'Ayanna means "Mommy and Ayanna".
How did this beautiful name come about?
When today's artisan first started creating jewelry, her focus was on finding a wonderful creative outlet for her pre-teen daughter. Instead, it turned into an outlet for her! Where her daughter's interests were fleeting and waned quickly (as children's interests often do), Patrice carried on creating beautiful designs and creative jewelry.
At first just a hobby to soothe the soul, as often happens with creative people, her creativity soon overflowed and has since developed into a business as well as a hobby.
Her daughter (now 18) still contributes, although now she is the creative critique rather than a jewelry designer herself and together their shop has developed into a beautiful home for an eclectic collection of jewelry styles and designs that are sure to spice up the outfits of any who wear them!
YOU CAN CLICK ON THE PICTURES ABOVE TO VISIT DESIGNS BY M'AYANNA ON ETSY AND TAKE A LOOK AROUND OR, IF YOU PREFER, YOU CAN CLICK RIGHT HERE!

Monday Morning Mosaics
The mosaic today is all about the ocean and a handful of wonderful artisans who feature her beauty!
Growing up, one of the things I loved most about summer was camping and I always begged for spots that were right near the ocean. I loved the ocean best. I wasn't into sun bathing or checking out the guys but I loved to explore the tide pools, body surf and swim within the waves. Fascinating during daylight or at night, it was, in my mind, the perfect place to spend a long weekend.
Glassroger - RC Art Glass
Glassroger from Ogden, Utah
cindylouwho2 - Abalone Shell Jewellery and More
cindylouwho2 from Calgary, Canada
MDanielsonPhoto - Michael Danielson Photography
Michael Danielson from Long Island, New York
FogandSwell - Art and Sculpture Inspired by the West Coast
Fog and Swell from Vancouver Island, Canada
I hope you enjoyed this tour through a few of the amazing artisans and artists on Etsy who have reminded me how wonderful summers and camping can be and have brought back tons of wonderful memories for me and hopefully you too!

Glassroger - RC Art Glass

A full time lampworker for seven years, the artisan behind glassroger creates beautiful lampwork glass creatures that are predominantly creatures of the sea! He has a wide variety of pendants and glass sculptures available including stingrays, seahorses and some of the most beautiful lampwork seashells I've ever seen.
cindylouwho2 - Abalone Shell Jewellery and More
cindylouwho2 from Calgary, Canada
Gorgeous, vibrant peacock jewelry created from shell, pearl, sea glass and stone. This creative woman designs artisan jewelry and accessories with a flair or originality in each piece. She has a love for the vibrant colors of abalone shell and peacock pearls that comes through in her colorful and elegant pieces.
MDanielsonPhoto - Michael Danielson Photography
Michael Danielson from Long Island, New York
A talented photographer based out of Long Island, New York. Michael Danielson carries a wonderful and creative variety of ocean and nature photography in his shop including beautiful beaches and piers sat beside lighthouses, ocean vistas and other beautiful visages of Long Island as well as nearby regions of upstate New York and New England.
FogandSwell - Art and Sculpture Inspired by the West Coast
Fog and Swell from Vancouver Island, Canada
An artisan on the northwest coast who enjoys capturing bits of her surroundings in her pieces so that she can share a little of the west coast landscape and nature with everyone else. Her shop carries a few prints and a variety of soft sculpture creations from sea urchins to starfish, barnacles, whales and more.
I hope you enjoyed this tour through a few of the amazing artisans and artists on Etsy who have reminded me how wonderful summers and camping can be and have brought back tons of wonderful memories for me and hopefully you too!
