Uncomplicated, Pure and Simple Handcrafted Soaps
As I think I've mentioned once before on this blog, I have sensitive skin. Not just sensitive skin, but horribly, outrageously and sometimes extremely painful sensitive skin. I can get hives at the drop of a hat and uncomfortable dryness and itchiness within minutes of putting on perfume or using soap that my skin doesn't agree with.
Because of this, I have to be very careful what I use on my skin. For soap, it's a soothing oatmeal soap made with oatmeal and honey... no perfumes. Oatmeal is very soothing for the skin, and honey is a natural antibiotic.
Now, it's a lot lot harder than it seems it would be to find tis basic soap. Most soap makers seem to insist soap needs some kind of fragrance added, but my skin can't handle fragrance.
Today, I think I might have found myself a new soap shop to buy from though and I'd love to share it with all my readers.
MossyCreekSoaps on Etsy is a little shop filled with lots of natural, earthy soaps created by a certified handcrafted soap maker, Michelle Rhoades from Warner Robins, Georgia.
In Michelle's shop you can find a large variety of earthy, natural soaps made from scratch with olive and sunflower oils enriched with shea butter. Some are au-natural, with no fragrance at all. Others are deliciously scented with natural essential oils such as lavender, lemongrass, rosemary, spearmint and more.
Each type of soap is carefully cured for over a month and is available not just in her Etsy shop but also on the Mossy Creek Soaps website. There are also gift baskets, body butter and soy candles to browse through.
So if you like to take luxurious baths and love trying out new bath products (or you know someone who does) be sure to stop by. I'm tempted by so many of the soaps that Michelle has to offer that I wish I had more people to buy for!
YOU CAN CLICK ON THE PICTURES ABOVE TO VISIT MOSSYCREEKSOAPS SHOP ON ETSY AND TAKE A LOOK AROUND OR, IF YOU PREFER, YOU CAN CLICK RIGHT HERE.
If you like what you see in Michelle's shop, you may also enjoy visiting her blog or the Mossy Creek Soaps website!
