Intricate and Unique... The Gorgeous Beadwork Jewelry of Betty Stephan
I am a huge fan of beautiful embroidery. I can't help it. It's a skill that's a part of my heritage, and one I unfortunately didn't inherit.
In Facebook a while ago, I discovered something even more amazing to me than embroidery and the gorgeous creations you can make with it. That would be... beading embroidery.
What can I say about this but "oh my god.. WOW!". I mean, really, if you haven't seen this amazing skill in action or the end results, you really need to. I've never seen anything so delicate and intricate and just plain gorgeous.
Betty Stephan Beadworks shop on Etsy is filled with these remarkable pieces. Every tiny bead is sewn on individually, creating a beautiful long-lasting piece and the clasps on these pieces are made with the same amount of care and detail so that even those allergic to metals can wear these pieces without worry.
For the past 3 years Betty Stephan has retired into a career as a jewelry designer and has been displaying and selling her beautiful jewelry at art and craft Shows throughout the Northeast. She has a variety of pieces in her shop, but if you like what you see there, I encourage you to go further and check out her website as well.
YOU CAN CLICK ON THE PICTURE ABOVE TO VISIT BETTY STEPHAN'S BEADWORKS SHOP ON ETSY AND TAKE A LOOK AROUND OR, IF YOU PREFER, CLICK RIGHT HERE.
Also, as I mentioned earlier, I discovered Betty Stephan and her amazing beadwork through Facebook. This is a terrific place to stop by and see her newest creations as she finishes them!

Goth Chicks like Cute Too - The Underground Market on Etsy
*Laughing.* The title is by Leal, but he's not wrong!
The flavor of "cute" for those that prefer goth, whether in fashion or culture , might be a bit different. But, they like cute too!
Today's shop is filled with goth cute and when I saw the items filling this shop, I immediately broke into a smile.
The Underground Market on Etsy is filled with clay figurines, jewelry, creative dolls as well as original paintings and sketches.
With Halloween coming up (which is my own very favorite holiday), even those not into the goth culture will be loving this shop and you might just find the perfect decoration for your home or gift for a loved one you've been shopping for.
TO VISIT THE UNDERGROUND MARKET ON ETSY YOU CAN CLICK THE PICTURE ABOVE OR, IF YOU'D RATHER, CLICK RIGHT HERE!
You might also enjoy stopping by The Underground Market's blog or visiting the artist on Twitter or Facebook!

Vintage Clothes, Accessories and Shoes at Oma Vintage
I love shoes. You have NO idea. I own so many shoes I could probably (almost) wear a different pair every day for a year. I'm horrible about it too, because I'll buy in a heartbeat if I see something I like.
Shoes were what first caught my eye in today's shop too. There was a pair of boots in there that I fell in love with (sold now but oooh were they gorgeous!) and wanted so bad. Not the right size was all that held me back but there's plenty of other items in Oma Vintage that -are- my size and I'm more than a little tempted by.
Oma Vintage on Etsy is a terrific little vintage shop filled with clothes and shoes. Not only that, but they're one of the only vintage shops selling clothing that gives you copious amounts of pictures so you can have a clear view of what it is your buying. I like that. I think it's necessary if you're not going to be able to try on the clothes until after you buy them.
And, not only do they have a shop on Etsy, but they have a retail store in the Philadelphia area as well as a website! So if you like a vintage touch to your outfits or love shopping vintage racks for by-gone styles, stop by and check them out!
YOU CAN CLICK ON THE PICTURE ABOVE TO VISIT OMA VINTAGE'S SHOP ON ETSY AND TAKE A LOOK AROUND OR, IF YOU PREFER, CLICK RIGHT HERE.
Also! Oma Vintage is in transition from their old location on Etsy to their new one! Everything in their old shop is currently on super-sale so be sure to stop by and check out their old location as well!

Just Peachy - Button Jewelry and More - A Rare Post by Leal
Recently, I had a custom scarf made for my sister to give to her for her birthday. She's one of those people who likes the super-long scarves like the ones Arnold Horshack used to wear on "Welcome Back, Kotter".
Today I discovered a shop that has a bracelet that would perfectly match that scarf. You can see it pictured here in this post. Exact same shades of pink and brown, and that touch of white makes me think the bracelet should be named Neapolitan, after the ice cream.
The shop where I found this bracelet is Just Peachy Jewelry and Accessories on Etsy. Based out of Orlando, Florida, this shop has a variety of button jewelry and other handmade bits and pieces from jewelry to hair accessories and even a cat in a tutu (you have to go by and take a look if only to see the cat, seriously).
I'm especially intrigued by the crochet necklaces they have there. They're very interesting and I've been looking at them for a while wondering how in the world they managed to incorporate the beads into the weave.
So take a minute to take a peek and a browse.
