Wearing Baby instead of Carrying - Handmade Baby Slings and Wraps by BabyEtte on Etsy

Not being a mother, I can't say I'm up on a lot of the lingo and other terms that go along with having children, caring for babies, etc. The other day I learned a new term for something I'd seen before but never realized there was an actual "term" for it.

Babywearing.

For those of you that don't know what this means, this term is in reference to any type of "baby transport" where you are using a sling or other form of carrier to "wear" your baby instead of carrying it in your arms. I was first introduced to this idea with back packs made for baby and have more recently become an admirer of the sling.
