Okay, not exactly. But, Haiti's involved because today I'm featuring the Queer Etsy Street Team Collective, which is a shop run by the QueerEtsy Team, who is currently contributing to help with the Haitian relief effort.
This is a great and very talented group of fun loving GLBTQIQ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans-gender, queer, inter-sex and questioning) Etsians.
Their collective shop is filled with talented artists and craftspeople that work with every conceivable medium and, among their merchandise, you will find a broad representation of incredible handmade items and vintage treasures.
All items in the shop are donated by the talented members of the Queer Etsy Street Team, and 100% of sales proceeds go to benefit charities of the team's choosing. This month, until February 14th, that charity is the Madre.Org to benefit their emergency fund for the survivors of the Haitian earthquake.
The store offers Free Shipping, too! So, if you're looking for a way to give back or Pay-It-Forward, make sure you head over to the Queer Etsy Street Team Collective and take a look around.
