Honestly? I've seen a lot of amazing artwork done with colored pencils. I had a girl in many of my classes back in high school, in particular, who created the most unique and amazing pieces with a vibrancy that I just couldn't pull my eyes away from every time I saw one.
But I've never seen anything like this done with pencils, and I'm completely in love! I can't even imagine how she does it. It's mind boggling!
Each piece in Jennifer Maestre's collection of art pieces is hand made by Jen and looks like a wonderful jigsaw puzzle of colorful pencils fit together in unique and interesting shapes.
On Etsy, she sells earrings, pendants, pens, necklaces and more. She also has a selection of "Pencil Urchin" sculptures that have been recently featured in American Style Magazine!
On her website you can see an even larger variety of Jennifer Maestre's works and you'll be amazed by all the color and creativity displayed.
Take a peek for yourself and a browse around her website, I bet you too will be fascinated and wondering just how in the world she makes those beautiful, intricate little bits of pencil art!
